A very high quality 19th Century Carlton House Desk – Made by: Maple & Co. London Cabinet Makers for high quality furniture. The top has a brass gallery with two drawers and three lift up compartments, which include pigeon holes and ink wells. Below the writing surface there are three mahogany lined drawers with brass handles. The whole desk is heavily inlaid throughout with marquetry, stands on square tapered legs with boxwood line inlay and terminates with brass castors.
