A very high quality, fine and elegant early 19th Century William IV Rosewood fold over Card Table. The table features a beautifully figured rosewood D shaped folding top with a carved line edging. The top swivels 90′ degrees and folds open to reveal into a newly baize lined playing surface interior, offering both elegance and practicality. The top contains storage space for playing cards etc. The decorated frieze is adorned with shaped mouldings, while the edges of the top are decorated with intricately carved bobbin mouldings. The table is raised on a tapering baluster column, supported on a quatrefoil platform with four reeded and carved bun feet terminating in the original swivel castors
